i pulled the TPS sensor and cleaned it but that didn't help either. i checked the coils and spark plugs to see if any oil seeped into the cylinder heads but the plugs were dry and the coils continuity was good( i think (0.15)) and looked good.

got a new starter relay and replaced few fuses and the sub harness.

drained the coolant and replaced with engine ice.
